Over 5o years ago, Howdy Dowdy was so popular
among the younger set, kids clamored for a TV
set to watch him at home, so parents had little
choice but to get a TV set for home viewing.

TV sales skyrocketed because of that show and the
I Love Lucy show, the Milton Berle show and others
joined in to make TV a must for all American households.

That was then. Now, technology has provided other
forms of media to offer a nultiplicity of diversions to
entertain one and all over a broad range of disciplines.

The Internet offers a multiplicity of diversions in its
own right, and, one and all are capitalizing on that
reality by exploring entertainment and education
options in various formats on the Net.

This is now and this blog is another example of
the diversions one can access and enjoy using this
